SAP S/4 HANA Core Modules

Finance (FI)

Supports the full spectrum of financial operations across the enterprise. This includes managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, financial close processes, and statutory reporting. FI ensures real‑time financial visibility and compliance with global accounting standards, enabling accurate forecasting and strategic decision‑making.


Controlling (CO)

Materials Management (MM)

Sales and Distribution (SD)

Human Capital Management (HCM)

Handles core HR processes such as payroll, time management, recruitment, employee master data, organizational structure, and performance management. HCM supports workforce planning and ensures compliance with labor regulations while improving employee lifecycle management.


Quality Management (QM)

Ensures consistent product and process quality through inspections, audits, non‑conformance handling, and compliance tracking. QM integrates with procurement, production, and sales to maintain quality standards across the entire value chain.


Plant Maintenance (PM)

Supports preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities. PM manages equipment records, maintenance planning, work orders, and repair histories to maximize asset uptime, reduce operational disruptions, and extend equipment life.


Production Planning (PP)

Enables efficient planning and execution of manufacturing processes. PP covers material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, shop floor execution, and production scheduling. It ensures that production runs smoothly, resources are optimized, and customer demand is met on time.


Asset Management

Focuses on the lifecycle management of physical assets, including planning, forecasting, maintenance execution, and performance monitoring. It helps organizations reduce downtime, optimize asset utilization, and improve long‑term capital planning.


Sourcing and Procurement

Supply Chain Management (SCM)
